Liver

We’re having a tough time emotionally.

Then the doctors said they are going to take tests on Janes problematic liver. To mae it brief, there are 3 outcomes from these tests:

1) put her on medications to help get liver going
2) remove possible obstruction (cyst) from side of liver, if it exists
3) liver transplant

They’ll find out within the next several days. Awaiting results on today’s liver ultrasound that will give us some preliminary info.

As I read your blog & replies at work my heart is touched; You are all uplifted in prayer everytime you as parents and Jane are brought to mind. Remember that God is in charge & everything you are going through is in His plan and for His glory, in Jesus name, amen. “We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.”

Continuing to lift you all up in prayer. Specifically praying for Jane’s liver. I pray that the outcome will the least invasive. Keep looking to the Lord. He is the ultimate physician.

  5. Daniel & Elisabeth:

Put your names in place of “Jacob” & “Israel” when you read this:

“But now, this is what the Lord says: He who created you, O Jacob, He who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour; I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead.”
    Isaiah 43:1-3

I am so sorry. We don’t know why all of this is happening to you and sweet Jane, but you must continue to rely on God and each other. May all of this strengthen your bond with Him and each other and make you each an even stronger Christian, spouse and parent. Our family is praying for you daily. Sending you tons and tons of love!

D&E, we’re praying for you and Jane daily, as is my Bible study group and many, many believers who you will likely never meet. I’m sorry you’re riding such a roller coaster, and yet in the midst of it we can see the obvious hand of God. A couple in my Bible study group wanted to share these words with you, to encourage you:
    To Daniel and Elisabeth:
Our grandaughter Karlie was born at 29 weeks weighing 3lb, 8oz. She was born before the required 2nd dose of Celestone to help her lungs mature and also had the “hole in her heart” at birth but by Gods grace began to close so she did not have the surgery to repair it. It was a long process before she was able to come home but God did show us His love and compassion though many others. Karlie’s mom was a 16yr old single mom so we became the surrogate parents so-to-speak. Karlie is now 22yr old and we have been blessed by her many times over. We will be praying for your family and your living situation so far from home. May God bless you and keep you close and may your love for God spill over onto all those around you. – Ken and Debbie”

Holding you up in prayer, with much love, xoxo Elenna, Greg and Nick

    Good morning,
Such a let down to hear this type of news, but faith in a living and merciful God is all we have to rely on, which should be sooo seen through those around us. I am certain you are witnessing the Love of God in this manner.

Out of Isiaiah 41 verse 10
Fear thou not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am Your God: I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness
    Verse 13
For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; it is I who say to you: “Fear not, I am the one who helps you”
Daniel & Elisabeth – prayers, prayers, prayers and more prayers for you and Jane.

Want you to know we are all still praying. Words from last night.
Jer.30:16-17 Thus says the lord; “refrain your voice from weeping, Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted for her children, because they are no more.”
Thus says the Lord; “refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes and from tears; for your work shall be rewarded, says the Lord and they shall come back from the land of the enemy.
17 There is hope in your future, says the Lord, that your children shall come back to their own border.

Daniel, Fetha, and sweet baby Jane…
I’m so sorry to hear about the many ups and downs you are all experiencing. It’s like a really bad nightmare you just want to get out of. There are many people who love and support the three of you dearly, constantly lifting you up in prayer. We are going through this roller coaster with you guys and share in your pain. Believe when I say that you are not going through this journey alone. God also knows the pain in our heart and experiences every emotion (even our hurt) with us.
“In all their suffering he also suffered, and he personally rescued them. In his love and mercy he redeemed them. He lifted them up and carried them through all the years.”- Isaiah 63:9
Hold on to your trust in God and keep steadfast in his word. You and Daniel have so much faith and love for the Lord and I think I can say for all of us that you two have truly been such an inspiration.
We don’t know why we experience these types of troubles and trials in our lives, only God can see the bigger picture. But just as pain enters our lives, He sends healing and restoration.
“For no one is cast off by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to anyone (Lamentations 3:31-33)

Though it may be hard or even difficult at times, entrust all your anxieties into his mighty hand and then let him work his purpose and blessing in his way and his time. We all continue to pray for a very healthy and healed baby Jane and comfort and compassion for you and Daniel.
